Barcelona are taking steps to safeguard La Masia talent following recent academy departures.
Barcelona's new youth contract structure:
• Base release clause: €6m
• Youth League debut: €8m
• Barça Atlètic call-up: €10m
• 5 first-team appearances: €25m
The club's new approach also focuses on opening contract extension talks before players reach 18, securing 4 or 5-year commitments to avoid losing young talent on short-term deals or low buyout clauses.

Hamza Abdelkarim did NOT train with the first team today. He participated in the morning session with Barça Atlétic and everything indicates he won't travel to Seville tomorrow. He's likely to participate in Barça Atlétic's next match.
