Barça has the option to activate a 3 year optional clause, which takes precedence over any personal agreement by Barberá, once he becomes a free agent.

Barça are close to finalizing a major real estate project in Dubai that could open up an important new stream of revenue for the club. The development is planned as a luxury Barça-branded residential project, featuring things like Barça Cafés and Barça Stores to expand the club’s presence beyond football.
A key part of the agreement would see Ohana Development’s logo appear on the back of Barcelona’s shirt in domestic competitions, while the Fundació Barça logo would be used in European matches due to UEFA regulations.
The sponsorship alone could bring in around €10M per season, making it a significant financial boost. Overall, Barcelona see this as a major business move off the pitch that could strengthen the club’s long-term financial future. #FCB
